I have done, to the best of my ability, a literal transcription of the document however often vowels are indistinguishable from one another and some constants likewise
In the name of God Amen. I Ambrose Howe
of the parish of Marnhull in the County of Dorset
yeoman being sick of body but of perfect memory god
be praised for it I doe make my will and testament
in manner and forme following vipt the twenty
eight day of September Anno Domin 1672
Impris I do give my soul and unto Almighty god who gave
it me and my body to the earth from whence it was
taken and my bodye to be buried at the discretion of
my Executrix And although this naturall body of mine
forever it shall rise a sprituall body unto life everlasting
It[em] I doe give and bequeath unto my son Morgan Howe one
beadsteade and bead and all the cloaths belong to the
said bead standinge in the buttery chambere the middle
brasse poote and the furnace pan and a table board and
forme standing: standing in the hall It[em] I do give
and bequeath unto Elizabeth Howe my granddaughter
the sume of twenty shillings and a quasser It[em] I do
give and bequeath unto my sone William Howes other
three daughters twelve pence apiece It[em] I do give
and bequeath unto my son William Howe the bead and
beadinge in the Attle chamber All the rest of my goods
movable and unmovable not before given nor bequeathed
my will permormed my lehgahies payd and my funerall
susspend It[em] I do give and bequeath unto my sone
Ambrose Howe whom I doe make my whole and
sole executor and I doe null revolt all other
wills testaments and bargains whatsoever thus I do
make my last will and testament In Witness
herof I have put to my hand and seale the day and
yeare above written
